I first help my students to get used to the guitar by doing left and right hand finger exercises. I then introduce my students to basic guitar theory concepts that will be used to practice music improvisation. I relate lesson content to the student’s preferred style of music.
Beginners are able to hold a guitar comfortably as well as perform various pieces of music. Beginners will also have an entry level ability to music improvisation, allowing them to perform with other musicians by selecting appropriate chords/scales for their jams
